The vision of this Indigenous health lab, which was created by Mi’kmaq scholar Dr. Erica (Samms) Hurley, was to have a welcoming space for community members, academics and students. The WATERR lab was formed in 2024 but the official launch date was September 2025. Please explore the webpage and provide any feedback you would like. Individuals can submit proposal ideas or just reach out through a contact us form for connecting community ideas, thoughts and priorities.
